To be honest, the BLACKSTARS where hungry out of the gate.
They took the game to Brazil very early.
They caused trouble in and out the 18 yard box but the end result was no goals.
Ghana did not play their total football they played away from it. They play
very undisciplined football for the first time which shocked me.
But they regrouped. The Defense thought the game was very strong and I applaud Panstil, Vorsah, Opare and Johnathan Mensah for hold down the back-field the Referee’s officiating was horrible but you cant really blame him for everything. The 2nd half was very offensively dismal but the defense was solid.
They never really threatened Brazil. Brazil kept coming but The Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey was like a brick wall.
He made save after world-class save to keep The Blackstars in.
To sweep aside goal-bound balls from Brazil, Man this kid is ready for stardom!
Very impressive display by this young man. He wasn’t really tested by Swaziland but showed yesterday why he should be #1. The loss of Asamoah gyan, Dede ayew to injury was a big loss to are team. Also, Kevin-Prince not being included in squad could of really helped the midfield. Although we lost I am happy about this result.
When Opare was sent in the 35′ Ghana pushed through and gave Brazil a very tough time. I think this team is in good hands with the coach Goran and these
boys will go far.
My Man of the Match goes to New Boy Ghana Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey reason being he made 3 world-class saves and if he wasn’t minding the Blackstar net. Ghana would of been in very big trouble. He kept a very respectable scoreline.
I wouldn’t be surprised if big clubs in europe are looking for his signature in the near future. KWARASEY WELCOME TO GHANA FOOTBALL!
I give him a 4.5 out a possible 5 stars!
