abigailOur Beloved Community (Abigail needs our help)

From time to time we get called upon as community to lend a helping hand to neighbours, Ghanaian families at home and strangers. It has been brought to our attention that an international Ghanaian student, Abigail  Bafowaah  from B.C. visited her aunt in Toronto and was diagnosed with leukemia. She is currently on chemotherapy treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital. Ms. Bafowaah is a member of the Church of Pentecost while her aunt is a member of the SDA church

With no insurance, the hospital requires a deposit of $150,000.00 by June ending to continue with the treatment to save her life. An account has been setup and was posted on Ghanaweb and so far money is trickling in from people touched by this tragic turn of events. Here is the link to the account: http://gofundme.com/helpabigail03

The Ghanaian Community and Church leaders are scheduling a meeting as a matter of urgency to mobilize our community to assist to save Abigail’s life.  I want you paint a mental picture of Abigail as our sister, daughter, niece, aunt and needs our help

On top of the donation requests, Abigail also needs your fervent prayers. We trust in the healing powers of the Lord and we trust that you will respond

On this communication thread, Pastor Quainoo of the Church of Pentecost highlighted few key points regarding the room number in the hospital and also Pastor Quainoo and the aunt will be glad to answer any question you might have

Any contribution of any magnitude and size is welcome

May we guided by the quote in Matthew 25:36-40

Thanks so much for your attention and we know you have a kind and empathetic heart
