As a non-profit charitable organization, Sister 2
Sister serves as a mentorship program and
resource for under-served West African
female children and youth ages 8-22 years.
Through encouragement, motivation, and
inspiration, Sister 2 Sister hopes to equip West
African female children & youth by providing
the necessary tools and skills to enable them
to become role models and leaders in their
communities.

Program Objectives

1. Improving the Self-esteem of African female children & youth

2. Keeping African female youth in school and improving their academic skills

3. Teaching and encouraging youth to seek out external resources, programs, services, and agencies essential to their future successes

4. To establish a group culture that enables participants to work as a network of leaders as well as community advocates

5. To equip participants with tools, tips and skills necessary to be effective female leaders in their communities

6. To encourage participants to understand the essentials of effective leadership

7. To educate and enlighten the minds of African female youth and empower them to make well informed decisions while striving for excellence in their daily lives

8. To involve youth in significant relationships with mentors, positive role models, community leaders, professionals and other nurturing adults
