The Scarberian Boxing Club proudly announces the groundbreaking achievement of Joshua Antwi, a dedicated high school student and member of our esteemed club, who recently competed at the Canadian Boxing Championships in Calgary, Alberta, this past March.

Born and raised in Toronto to Ghanaian parents, Joshua has etched his name in Scarborough’s sporting history by becoming the first-ever boxer to secure a National gold medal for a Scarborough boxing gym.

His remarkable talent, relentless work ethic, and unwavering determination have propelled him to this extraordinary feat, showcasing the caliber of athletes nurtured within our community. We are thrilled to announce that Joshua will now be representing Team Canada internationally, a testament to his exceptional skill and potential on the global stage.
