Saturday, July 26th 2014 – The inaugural F.A.C.E. List Awards presented by Face2Face Africa was held at the Skyball Center, Manhattan New York. This prestigious annual event aims to honor Pan-African achievements in the diaspora.
This year’s honorees included Business Mogul Dr. Mo Ibrahim, fashion icon Alek Wek, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, Afrobeat singer Femi Kuti, entrepreneur Bethlehem Alemu and general manager of the NBA’s Toronto Raptors Masai Ujiri whom were honored for their outstanding contributions and impact on the pan-African community.
also in attendance was Ghanaian dancehall and reggae artist Samini who was the headline act for this year’s edition of the Face2Face Africa‘s F.A.C.E. List Awards in New York.
