Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac admits his side’s 1-0 win over Serbia was bittersweet on a personal level.
The Serbian tactician led the Black Stars to a narrow triumph in their opening World Cup game, thanks to a penalty from Asamoah Gyan in the last 10 minutes.
This was after substitute Zdravko Kuzmanovic needlessly handballed in the area, and Aleksandar Lukovic had been sent off for a second yellow card. Rajevic was pleased with his side’s victory in Group D, but says he feels sorry for the Serbia players.  “Of course for me personally in my job this is a great victory but I’m sorry for the Serbian team,†he said. “I know many of their players and I could see how saddened they were but I tried to concentrate on my job and perform my duties in a professional manner. “Maybe we got lucky, they’re a very good team and it’s difficult to play against them.
“I hope they get six points in their next two matches.â€
