On January first, Ghanaians in Toronto celebrated New Years day with Uncle Sam (Ghana house) and The Soundmasters. This annual event brought together people from different parts of Africa.  Thanks to DJ Emma and his team, the hard working ladies at the bar and Uncle Sam (Ghana House), this event was a success because it was able to bridge the cultural gap between the young adults and our elders in the community.
