Sunday June 2nd 2019 – Under the leadership of the Ghanaian Canadian Association of Ontario, in conjunction with the Ghana High Commission Canada, a town-hall meeting was organized for community members to interact with the President on his first official visit to Toronto as President of Ghana. 

The President who was an official invitation by the Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau to a Conference in Vancouver stopped at Toronto to address the Ghanaian community there. 

A huge crowd of Ghanaians living in Greater Toronto Area showed up at the town hall meeting addressed by the President. Those present included chiefs and queen mothers, the clergy, ethnic as well as professional associations, businessmen and the youth.
