Ghanaians woke up to the shocking news of the passing of Daasebre Ahuofe Gyamenah at the 37 Military Hospital.
Daasebre Gyamena stormed the music industry in 1999 when he released his second and one of the most successful albums in his music career, ‘Kokooko’.
Since joining the industry almost two decades ago, Daasebre Ahoofe Gyamena won a considerable number of awards at the most prestigious event, Ghana Music Awards.
Some of them include Best Contemporary Highlife Song, Best Contemporary Album, Best Contemporary Highlife Artiste, Over All Best Album, Best Male Vocal Performance, Best Song Writer, etc.
