The Ghana independence celebration in Toronto is a week long program with 4 unique events with the mission to bring the community together on one accord for development. The events from March 6th to March 13th 2016 will include a free gospel concert and brigade march-past, a flag raising ceremony with Toronto municipal leaders, a basketball game with the Toronto Raptors developmental league team versus Iowa. The final event for the week will be a dinner dance party and cultural display.
