The University of Ghana (UG) is hosting NBA trio David West, TJ Warren and Pops Mensah-Bonsu at the Africa All Access Basketball Camp underway at the tertiary institution’s Central Court.

NBA Champion West of Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns ace Warren and San Antonio Spurs Scouts and former Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans Forward Mensah-Bonsu touched down in the country over the weekend ahead of the camp.

The one day program also has a collection of top trainers in the country at post including Alfred Davies and 2017 Coca-Cola Achievers Award Sports Category winner James Ocloo of Icons Basketball Fame.

Participants under 18 years are being taken through numerous basketball drills and life coaching on entrepreneurship and career development.

UG has been a hot bed for top tier programs in the country hosting events like the renowned Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championships.

University of Ghana’s Male Team won the UPAC title twice in 2016 and earlier this year and its female side competes in the Accra Basketball League.
